2 September 2019
11:00 am EDTLabour Day Picnic - Hardy Park, Brockville - 11 AM to 2 PM
Leeds and Grenville Labour Council will be hosting the fourth annual Labour Day Picnic. Activities include: Live Music by The G-Men, Hotdog Lunch, Bouncy Castles, Balloon Artist, Face Painting, First Responder Vehicles and other Children’s' activities. ALL activities are FREE and EVERYONE is welcome.

September's Labour Day Monday is a day dedicated to celebrating workers and their many contributions to our Canadian society. To complement the festivities this year, we will continue to engage the public in labour movement issues, and continue to share with them the goals of your Canadian Labour Congress and organized labour, in general. These include such things as seeing a universal Pharmacare plan finally come to fruition, fighting for safe and fair working conditions for everyone, and ensuring that our public services remain strong and PUBLIC!
